On October 25, 2019, Yang Fengtian, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, visited Hunan Sunward Technology Co., Ltd. for inspection and guidance. Academician Yang Fengtian visited Sunward SA60L series manned light sports aircraft, Sunward SA160L five-seater aircraft, and Sunward series unmanned aerial vehicle production lines successively under the introduction of Sunward General Manager Zou Xiangfu, and got a detailed understanding of Sunward aviation composite material production process and process. During the visit, Academician Yang Fengtian spoke highly of Sunward Technology's achievements in the development of its own brands in the general aviation field; he gave forward-looking guidance and exchanges on the development of general aviation products and general aviation operations of domestic national brands.
Academician Yang Fengtian is a leader in China's general aviation industry and an expert in overall aircraft design. He has long been engaged in the overall design and research of fighter planes. He used to be the chief designer of multiple models of the J-8 series of aircraft. He is currently the model chief of the J-8 improved aircraft. National-level experts with outstanding contributions, winners of aviation gold awards. The model developed by the organization and leadership has created four firsts in the history of my country's aviation research and development, and has made significant contributions to the development of aviation weapons and equipment, especially the J-8 series aircraft.
